Yummy Goan Radish Curry (for 2 people)

Ingredients:
Radish pc.s - 1 cup
Tomato pc.s - 1/4 cup
Garlic pc.s - 1/2 t sp.
Green chili - 1/2 t sp.
Besan - 1 tea sp.
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Cumin seeds - 1/4 t.sp
Oil - 1 t.sp
Salt to taste,
Jaggary - 1/2 t.sp
1 to 2 cups water
Cilantro for garnishing

Method:
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds when oil is hot. Add garlic & green chillies. Fry until light brown. Add radish pc.s. Add 1 cup hot water and cook radish until soft. Add tomatoes, salt & jaggary. Mix basan with little water and add to the curry. once the curry starts boiling again, add coconut milk and bring to simmer temperature. Add cilantro and eat with boiled brown rice. You can add a little water if you want thinner curry.

Caution - Do not boil curry after adding coconut milk.

Broccoli & black eyed beans salad

Broccoli & black eyed beans salad-
(Sufficient for 2 people)

Ingredients
:
1 cups black eyed beans - boiled in lightly salted water;
2 cups broccoli flowerets - finely chopped;
2 tea spoons cilantro - finely chopped;
1 tea spoon lemon juice;
4 tea spoons dates - chopped
4 tea spoons walnuts - chopped
salt to taste,
a pinch of black pepper powder
Method:
Toss together all the above ingredients in a bowl and keep for 10 minutes for juices to mix well.
Suggestion:
Some people find broccoli a little heavy to digest. They can lightly speam it and then mix.
You can use kidney beans instead of black eyed beans.
